Anthelmintic and anti-microbial activity of some no vel chalcone derivatives
Abstract In this study, substituted chalcone derivatives were synthesized and their Anthelmintic and Anti-microbial activities were carried out. Chalcone derivatives were obtained by the treatment of substituted acetophenone with substituted aromatic and hetero aromatic aldehydes. The structure elucidation of the compounds was performed by UV, IR, 1 H NMR. Generally the prepared compound exhibited only moderate Anthelmintic and Anti-microbial activity; however, a few of them exhibited good activity.
