B-spline surfaces on circle and fan-shaped domain
ABSTRACT:
Rotated a B-spline curve we can get
rotating B-spline basis functions and the definition of B-spline surfaces on
cylindrical coordinate system, gives the nature of B-spline basis functions and
B-spline surfaces with de Door algorithm. As the rotating B-spline surfaces is
not conducive to geometric modeling. In this paper, we improve the rotating
B-spline method, and then we defined B-spline basis functions, tensor B-spline
surfaces under the cylindrical coordinate system which has it nature. All this
provides a new method in geometric modelling.
