Correlation analysis on water resources utilization and the sustainable development of economy in Minqin of Gansu Province


ABSTRACT:

This paper analyze the relativity of water resources utilization in Minqin and economic sustainable development adopting optimal multiple regressions. The results show that: 1There is remarkable correlation between the economic growth and the demand of water resources. On condition that the sustainable development of economy is satisfied, the growth of rural population is a huge pressure on water resources. It is an appropriate measure to coordinate the environmental protection and social economic development that reducing the consumption of water for rural population or accelerating the process of urbanization and developing forestry and animal husbandry. 2) Increasing urban population and developing industry and modern farming can promote our economic growth at the same time reduce the pressure on water resources significantly. 3) 97.5% of the variation in the total water requirement of Minqin is caused by two variables-“animal husbandry output value” and “rural population”. So the major routes of rational utilization of water resources and the sustainable development of social economy in Minqin are reducing the consumption of water for rural population constantly or accelerating the process of urbanization and optimizing animal husbandry industry further.

ABSTRACT : The quantitation of civetone and normuscone in small Indian civet (Viverricula indica Desmarest) secretion cultivated in Thailand was analyzed by gas chromatography- mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Three main chemical constituents of small Indian civet secretion were civetone, dihydrocivetone and normuscone. The contents of chemical constituents were different between male and female secretion. Civetone (23.6 ± 1.5 µg/mg of secretion) was a major chemical constituent in the female secretion while normuscone (52.1 ± 5.9 µg/mg of secretion) was a major in the male secretion. Both civetone and normuscone were found in civet fur but not in the feces. Aromatic remedies which claimed to use the small Indian civet secretion as an ingredient showed both civetone and normuscone.   ABSTRACT : Most of the bacterial pathogens are resistant to existing synthetic antibacterial agents demanding an increasing effort to seek effective phytochemicals as antibacterial agents against such pathogens. Nigella sativa L. (black cumin) seeds play an important role in folk medicine and some of its major constituents are reported to be pharmacologically active. Analysis of total phenols,total tannins and screening of phytocomponents in Indigofera aspalathoides (Shivanar Vembu) Vahl EX DC

ABSTRACT: The plant Indigofera aspalathoides is popularly known as Sivanar vembu in Tamil belongs to the family fabaceae. The stem is traditionally used for various skin disorders and cancer. In the traditional medicinal system, the leaves, flowers and tender shoot are said to be cooling and demulcent, they are used in the form of decoction for leprosy and cancer affections. Qualitative and quantitative Phytocomponents test were screened in Indigofera aspalathoides. The total content of some important phytochemical constituents like phenols, tannins of Indigofera aspalathoides by studied using spectrophotometric methods.
